Recognition of MDW Achievement at Vitacress UK
Published in Awards and Achievements by CDI London, February 3, 2009
Although we are a few years into the MDWT implementation programme, we were guilty of never specifically rewarding our people for their contribution to the process. So we held our first Recognition Lunch on 4th August, to which we invited approximately 30 employees from across the breadth of the business. Mike Rushworth, Operations Director, introduced each of the awards and the certificates were presented by Nick Stenning, CEO.
Awards were given for the Highest Scoring Team in Goal Alignment, the Most Improved Team for Goal Alignment, the Best New Team for Goal Alignment, the Highest Scoring Team for 5S, the Most Improved Multi-Level Meeting Presenter, the best New Team Leader, the Greatest New Idea and the Successfully Implemented New Idea.
We followed the certificate presentation with a high quality fork buffet and discussion. We received such positive feedback that we plan to repeat quarterly and already have the next one in the diary. We are also following-up the event with an MDWT Newsletter, with amongst other things, photographs of each award winner and a summary of why they/their team were selected for the award.
