Vitacress Salads, winner of Best Factory People Management & Skills Development Award was invited to speak at the Best Factory Conference on 22 March 2011 to explain how they used MDW and People Power to treble output from 350,000 bags a week to 1.3 million. The annual Best Factory Conference enables UK’s best factories to share their knowledge, skills and experience to delegates from all over the country. During her presentation in March, Rachael Williams from Vitacress Salads described the benefits they have gained from using MDW. These include increased production, reduced waste and the development of their people.
